The Multi-Provider Regional or Thematic Catalogue ID is currently maintained by the EOSC Portal.  It is assigned during onboarding of the Provider. It is suggested to use the Multi-Provider's abbreviation. Two multi- providers cannot have the same id; therefore the EOSC Portal will resolve this when it happens during the registration of a multi-provider.
