EOSC-hub Week 2020 goes virtual

As EOSC-hub joins the rest of the European scientific community and the world in being responsible in #flatteningthecurve of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to change the format of the EOSC-hub Week 2020 from a physical conference to an online event. This means that the EOSC-hub week 2020 will still continue, but with significant changes to the structure and format of the event. More information on this will follow.

EOSC-Pillar Webinar: National Initiatives Survey Results

The EOSC-Pillar National Initiatives Survey aimed at assessing the state of the art of national initiatives in the area of open research data and services in order to support the harmonisation of these services and ultimately their integration into the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). To achieve its purpose and to gain a comprehensive picture of the European infrastructure landscape, the survey team involved more than 2.000 institutions across five European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Italy. EuroHPC Summit Week | PRACEdays20

The EuroHPC Summit Week (EHPCSW) 2020 will gather the main European HPC stakeholders from technology suppliers and HPC infrastructures to scientific and industrial HPC users in Europe. As in previous years, PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, organises the seventh edition of its Scientific and Industrial Conference (PRACEdays20) within the EHPCSW 2020.

Europeana 2019 Pre-conference Workshop: EOSC's Evolutionary Scenarios - New Perspectives for Digital Cultural Heritage

This year the Europeana Conference, the main event dedicated to the EU digital platform for cultural heritage and its communities, will take place in Lisbon, Portugal and feature a pre-event workshop entirely dedicated to EOSC. Titled "EOSC's Evolutionary Scenarios - New Perspective for Digital Cultural Heritage", the event will take place on 27 November 2019 in Lisbon, 10:00-13:00 GMT.

Save the date! EOSC Symposium 2019

The EOSC Symposium is one of the largest, yearly EOSC events. It is co-organised by the EOSCsecretariat project and the main ICT eInfrastructures initiatives, namely, EOSC-hub, GEANT, OpenAIRE and PRACE in collaboration with the EOSC Governance Board, Executive Board and its Working Groups (Architecture, FAIR, Landscape, Rules of Participation, Sustainability.) The event will see two intense and stimulating days for all stakeholders to contribute to discussion on the implementation of the EOSC.
