EOSC Core and Marketplace Provider Days

From 26 to 28 April 2022, EOSC Future, the INFRAEOSC-07 projects and ARCHIVER are giving an online crash course on EOSC for resource and service providers. Anyone curious to connect to the EOSC platform as a provider is invited to discover the programme, which covers interoperability requirements, onboarding procedure and the benefits of presenting research outputs and tools through EOSC. Current providers can get an update on the latest functionalities as well as a roadmap for upcoming improvements to the platform. Register now.

On 26 April, technical specialists and the onboarding team will join forces to give providers a tour of the EOSC platform. They will introduce the EOSC Core, the set of internal functionalities that allows EOSC to operate. They will spotlight the authentication and authorisation infrastructure, which enables EOSC, monitoring, accounting, order management and the helpdesk functionalities. Participants will also be shown around the EOSC portal’s marketplace and providers dashboard, while getting an overview of onboarding conditions and procedures as well as the proposed interoperability framework. In addition, open science experts will show how EOSC can be used to make data and services FAIRer.

The second and third days of the online event will consist of more targeted sessions and training activities. Representatives from EOSC projects and current providers will lead dedicated sessions for:

  • libraries
  • repositories
  • universities
  • HPC centres
  • science clusters and research infrastructures
  • commercial providers
  • national infrastructures

Session participants will be shown which resources and services they can onboard to EOSC and how they, and the communities they service, stand to benefit. All prospective and current providers can also join a detailed onboarding training session.

The full programme and registration are available on the EOSC Future website.
