The Open Clouds for Research Environments (OCRE) project aims to give the European research community access to commercial digital services (IaaS, SaaS and PaaS cloud services), as well as Earth Observation (EO) services.
OpenAIRE-Nexus brings in Europe, EOSC and the world a set of services to implement and accelerate Open Science. To embed in researchers workflows, making it easier for them to accept and uptake Open Science practices of openness and FAIRness.
OpenAIRE-Advance facilitates the move to a more open and reproducible scientific landscape by offering a unique set of services to embed Open Science into researcher workflows to promote opening up, sharing and reusing of research outcomes.
The Photon and Neutron Open Science Cloud (PaNOSC) is a cluster of ESFRI Research Institutes which proposes to align the efforts of the existing and new photon and neutron sources to make FAIR data a reality and link up to the European Open Science Cloud.
PRIMAGE proposes an open cloud-based platform to support decision making in the clinical management of two paediatric cancers, Neuroblastoma (NB), the most frequent solid cancer of early childhood, and the Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) the leading cause of brain tumour-related death in children.
PROCESS is focused on helping key players in the new data-driven ecosystem: top-level HPC, e-infrastructures and big data centres; scientific communities and companies with mission-critical extreme-scale data challenges.
The mission of RAISE is to provide the infrastructure for a distributed crowdsourced data processing system, moving from open data to open access data for processing. RAISE will provide the mechanism for sending the algorithm to the dataset instead of sending the data to the algorithm.
RDA Europe 4.0
RDA Europe 4.0, the European plug-in to RDA (the Research Data Alliance), focuses on the need for open and interoperable sharing of research data and builds social, technical and cross-disciplinary links to enable such sharing on a global scale.
RELIANCE will extend the EOSC service offering with a set of industry-strong, innovative, interconnected services for the open, efficient, and cross-disciplinary management of the research lifecycle.
Skills4EOSC brings together leading experiences of national, regional, institutional and thematic Open Science (OS) and Data Competence Centres from 18 European countries with the goal of unifying the current training landscape into a common and trusted pan-European ecosystem, in order to...
The European Commission is providing financial support to implement the EOSC by means of projects under the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon 2020). This page includes all the projects funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme contributing to the establishment of the European Open Science Cloud.
